I was raised on a small farm in Fountain County Indiana and graduated from Covington High School in 1976. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Engineering in 1983. I married my bride Kim in 1983 and have two sons born in 1985 and 1988.
I've had the privilege of working overseas in England and Japan as a Government contractor with Lockheed Martin for almost 10 years. Being a farm boy from Indiana , I never planned leaving the state, let alone the country!
Working at Purdue University has been a great experience for me and is enjoyable. I use to be the Systems Administrator in the Genomics Facility utilizing the UNIX servers. I now enjoy working in Agronomy as the Network Administrator. Having a hand in the Climatology group is fulfilling and I wish them the best success.
